Hotel in good location - 10 minute walk to Stalin Park. Staff all very friendly and those that can speak english very helpful and willing to assist to answer my questions in full. Breakfast while western is available it is not extensive. We met a wonderful taxi driver Mr "I" Does not speak english, however use the hotel staff to translate to Mr I for what you want to do. Mr I''s ph. number is 15804630213 - highly recommend him and we know of other westerners who used him and appreciated his assistance. We hired Mr I for an afternoon to take us to Sun Island for the snow & ice sculptures. Saved a lot of stress in trying to find a taxi after visiting the parks and it is really nice to get in a warm taxi without having to wait around. If arriving in winter time, suggest that you take a taxi direct from airport to hotel (approx RMB150). Might be more expensive however once you get off bus very difficult to get a taxi & they try to charge you a highly excessive rate (5 times the normal price!!!) to go a short distance. We waited for over 1/2hr to try and get a taxi in snowy conditions - not pleasant & have heard of same story for passengers waiting at railway station to get a taxi.

酒店大堂相当华丽，也很气派，但客房却是装修太差，一看就知道负责装修的人可能吃回扣了，装修档次低，用料次，还不如快捷酒店的水准。倒是隔中央大街近，下楼就是。总的来说，这个价格不值。

楼下就餐很方便，有几家餐厅，各个风味都有，离景点也很近，下次来还住。
