Unpleasant Experience at the Springdale
as the 2-bedroom deluxe apartment was completely unlike what was described by Ctrip. There is only 1 bedroom with 1 Queen Bed and another small room with a Super Single Bed. Definitely not meant for 4 persons especially couples to stay. When I approached a Mr John at the front counter, all he could say was that it was Ctrip''s fault for a wrong description and completely lacked any initiative in helping the guest to resolve the situation. He even suggested that I could pay to have an extra bed fitted in! I had to liase with Ctrip for an entire afternoon before finally taking up their counter offer of moving into 2 single bedroom apartments for a slightly higher price. This was their form of service recovery. Pay more to solve the problem but be thankful that it is already a much discounted rate.This service residence seems more interested in serving their long term tenants instead of casual tourists. This is evident by the fact that only 1 complimentary breakfast is given per bed (that''s the hotel''s explanation of how breakfast is allocated) and that bathroom amenities like shampoo, bath gel etc is meant for one. Very disapppointing considering it is managed by the Ascott group and I would recommend travellers to take your money elsewhere to a service-oriented hotel.
