Faded grandeur with great views Starting with the good points - the views were fantastic. The suite had huge windows that looked right out over the sea. The hotel was also very well placed right in the Badaguan scenic area and there are really nice beaches for swimming/sunbathing/walking in both directions along the coast.The suite itself was wonderfully roomy and there was plenty of place to put clothes and other items. However there was an air of faded grandeur as the walls and doors were faded with the sun and also the toilet flushed endlessly and the tap and shower fittings were stiff. There is a kitchenette but it only has a fridge - no corockery or cutlery of any kind. However, all the rooms were clean and toiletries were provided.The worst aspect was the service. Staff gave the impression of being ''bothered'' and were impatient. I only speak a little Chinese and was surprised that a 4 star hotel in a former Olympic city were not willing or able to help and that no-pne spoke any English at all. No offers for help with taxis or tourist sites were made available and the lack of greetings or smiles mean that we are unlikely to stay at this hotel again. A shame given the size of the room and the excellence of the views.
