Our stay at the Garden Hotel was very pleasant. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull and spoke sufficientEnglish to help with regular questions, organize us a daytrip and book traintickets for us. The room was more than perfect. Good big bed, a free plate of fruit on arrival, every night a small chocolatebar and a goodnightcard at the pillow etc.Very clean as well and a good location for visiting the City wall, the Nine Dragon Screen, Huayan Temple, the pedestrian street and to take the local bus to the very beautiful Yungang Caves. Staff was very helpfull with explaining where and how to go and organised us a very nice taxidriver to bring us to the Hanging Monastery (an absolute must see, try to be there before 11:00 a.m. because the Monastery will still be in full sunlight), the Wooden Pagoda and the Mountain Heng Shan (just RMB 300 for a whole day). If I would be in Datong again I would definitively stay at Garden Hotel again!

对这个酒店非常满意，酒店给人的第一印象就是前台接待，办理入住的时候差点以为这个是五星级酒店，前台接待全程面带微笑有问必答，让我感觉非常亲切，因为时间有点长了记得不是很清楚了，反正就是这家酒店非常好，酒店的管理者非常棒！下次去大同肯定还是这里！希望永远一直这样下去！
