The Hotel is in a great Location on the Hill on Gulangyu... The Car arrived & collected us from the Ferry terminal.. Friendly & Helpful Staff..Had to carry the bags up the stairs to the reception area..Its not user friendly for anyone thats in a Chair or for the elderly.. The Reception area is not well sign posted..Check in was good, friendly & helpful... The Foyer is absolutely wonderful... however I would say its a 4 star not a 5 star premise..There are no lifts to the floors, so one must tackle the stairs up & down 3 flights... helps to keep you fit... The room was spacious, & even though they said we would not have sea views..our balcony faced the opening & we could see some of the beach & ocean..The Rooms are not overly clean, & have a odor from smokers.. guess you notice it mpre when your a Non smoker... The bathroom was good size, although the hot water system in the shower was not the best... It was either Damn HOT or Dammn COLD... maybe the flickmixer tap needed replacing... The daily service to the room was so-so... The waiter forgetting to empty waste bins... not replacing Toilet tissues etc... The Air con is not the best either.. we ended up not using it & kept the balcony door open for a cool fresh breeze...Overall... the Hotel is good,all the LOCALS in Xiamen commented , that its the best Hotel on the Island... ..maybe.. but its probably a little expensive for what you get... The Breakfast waiters need to be trained to be active,, instead of concentrating on the sms thing Staff had a thing about walking in front of you when we walked through the place,... was as if they did not know any better...

酒店位置不错、入住还算满意

酒店位置不错，是岛上唯一的四星级酒店及岛上的景点之一，位于鼓浪屿最南端偏西位置，由于酒店的南面是三层私人别墅，所以1、2楼不可能在房内看到大海。我入住的1304房在三楼，可以说是酒店海景房的最佳位置，可以躺在床上、坐在室内看到海滩上戏水的游客及海上过往的船只。不足之处是周末的午餐自助餐人太多要早去，否则要排队；结账时要另加2%的费用不爽。

下次去厦门如果不住海上花园，还真舍不得呢～

入住期间正好老婆大人生日，提前与酒店联系，安排了小惊喜（当然费用自理，不贵，真的物有所值！），早餐还行（随便吃吃），环境好（海关总署培训基地地段怎么可能不好），酒店设施（有点旧，相对于房价性价比还是可以的），有免费的接机和电瓶车，对于有小孩的家庭特别适合，推荐想去厦门入住鼓浪屿的朋友们考虑一下，背包客不推荐，家庭出游首选。

性价比不错，值得入住！

通过华旅入住一晚（想住久一点，但订不到），感觉如下：
一、优点
1.有免费的接机服务，很方便。通过华旅网或自己打电话去告知航班号，会有酒店服务生专门到机场出口处迎接，以及过江后有电瓶车接到酒店。
2.电瓶车绕岛环游了一圈正好到酒店，离开时也可预约电瓶车送到码头。
3.地理位置不错，菽庄花园、钢琴博物馆、刻字展览馆、日光岩都很近。逛龙头路也很方便，我们带着小孩子慢慢晃过去也就最多10分钟。
4.房间比我想象的好，我们住的房间露台外是个花园，再远处可以看到海，很舒服！
二、不足之处
1.我住的房间空调声音很大，晚上睡觉的时候比较吵，不知是不是所有房都这样；
2.房间的卫生打扫的不够干净，我们那间房的地上居然还有套套的外包装纸在地上，好在我家小孩子不懂；
3.泳池比较深，最浅的也有1.4m，而且一定要带泳帽。想去游泳的朋友一定要早做准备（男女都是），否则15元一个很不值得！
