The Silver Sea Hotel is nowhere near the water, but sits on the traffic circle where the city sculpture, the tri-sails, resides. The lobby is large and well appointed, and my room was modern and clean (complete with the glass wall between the bath and the sleeping area). Staff friendly, but not English speaking, except for the manager. I would have preferred a location closer to the city center and the water, but I was satisfied with the overall experience. The buffet breakfast was large, but below average for hotel breakfasts around China.
