The only negative about Rosedale is that the staff need to be trained in customer service. At check-in the boy serving was not too friendly, just matter-of-fact. No smiles, no welcome, just a business-like approach which might be ok for some, but I like to feel welcomed at a hotel. On check-out, I was served by a girl who told me that I was at the wrong counter and directed me to go to the other one. That was fine, but then, she came down to the check-out counter and served another guy who had arrived after me. I thought, "That''s a bit rude." So he comes along, gets served straight away, while I am standing there. She knew I was checking out yet she chose to serve this other person. As I say, staff training required.
