at the start it already took me some courage to book into this hotel as Hyatt demanded >RMB2000 a night and really for AUD500 plus a night in Hangzhou, I didn't see the value hence ventured into Victoria Regal.
Top location! and good bathroom and spacious room! Facilities not great but all functional. Very, very dirty carpet though.
It seemed the hotel has no clues what services were about and the highly-talked about breakfast was really a joke, not wanting to be critical! I had the worst coffee ever in hotel breakfasts!
If I wanted just a sleep over, yes, I would come back; If I wanted an experience of a hospitality package, NO Thanks, I would pass.
An advice to those boys manning the concierge desk, pls go and watch the movie, "Concierge". It really takes a lot to be one.
