Stayed here in mid Dec 2008. The room was very well kept (probably because the place is new), and staff very helpful and professional. The location though "out" of the main city area is not an issue - while it is at the harbour end of town, there are basically 3 different roads you can walk along that eventually gets you to the middle of town over a 15-20 min walk so you get to cover quite a lot and see different parts of DaLian. Enjoyable stay and recommended for the lower-midrange price, and good value.
