Great hotel, great restaurants, great service.May be Shanshui hotel is nearer to actions or shopping, but will live in Shangri-La again next time in Fuzhou. I have eaten in the Xiagong Restaurant four times in three days. May be a bit expensive for others but the $88RMB ($112.70RMB after service chanrges etc.) for the lunch dimsim buffet is great for me; and I am a pricky Cantonese from Hong Kong/Australia.

so far the best 5-star hotel in fuzhou, nice room, comfort bed. only problem is the rmb80/day internet, and the speed is very slow.
