位置离市楼挺近，房间也很干净。早餐点了法式吐司，鲜桔汁，培根，大约六十元。晚饭也是在饭店里解决，过油肉不错。客栈里不能无线上网，据说正在维修。

Too pity not be able to attach pictures here. We had a wonderful room with large bed, the staff are trained to deal with foreigners and they do it in a quite smart way- even they often forget parts of the restaurant order... The rooms in the yard are quiet- we have been afraid of the noise, because of the location in the middle of main walking street. But we have been surprised. And they have a well-working heating system, also in the restaurant (means not typical Chinese). I can imagine going there again in winter to work in a peaceful atmosphere of an historic place.

If you visit Pingyao for traveling to the ancient city, it will be great if you complete it by stay in the ancient city. This hotel located in the middle of the ancient city. This hotel''s employees are very kind always smile. The hotel quiet clean even Pingyao it self quiet dusty and the air quality not good (smoggy).This guest house still need additional amenities to make it more standard like paper for face (not just toilet paper), some hooks for the room as well as in the bath room. They also need to improve their water supply (the flow of the shower too slow) and the quality of water (in the morning quiet often the water become reddish). Supply compliment bottled drinking water should be as per day stay not just on check in day.Their Chinese menu (Pingyao''s local foods) just so-so (just noticed why in every dishes they fried with flours ?), for western breakfast quiet good. Price not cheap but since Pingyao it self is very commercial so can acceptable. So just enjoy it.

这次去山西旅行，虽然路途辛苦，但酒店我们却选对了，这天元奎也太赞了，六星级的服务态度最令我们超级难忘。里面的服务员每个都很赞，人很好很亲切，让我们三个人在异乡的小姑娘感受到温暖啦~尤其是谢谢小张哥在我们旅途中给我们的亲切帮助，还有十分感谢小梁哥送我们出城坐车~你们人真好！下次再去平遥的话，一定还要住你们的店。
