A four star hotel facility but not up to the standards it is supposed to be the "best" hotel in town and it is supposed to be a "four star" rated facility. the outside appearance and inside lobby area are ok. once you are in the hallway, you will experience the difference and a disappointing one. the standard room is unlivable as it is old and smells. i had to upgrade myself to a luxury standard room with one large bed (of course pay more). this room is more updated and relatively clean except the carpet. the shower has no curtain to protect the rest of bathroom from getting wet when one takes a shower. breakfast is no good either. no western style food even the staff doesn''t know how to make instant coffee properly. don''t believe the claim hotel puts on advertising that there is free wireless internet connections in public area. (the fact is there is none) But it has the best location fronting the river and a view to Russian side so you really have no choice. Hope the hotel will improve with time and become more "international" like.
