Lovely room but not so friendly Great hotel in terms of room and facilities. Very comfortable and clean. Only problem was the room was very warm- our air con wouldn''t cool it down beyond a certain point.Reception staff were really quite unfriendly. I waited a good while for anyone to ask me if they could help while standing in front of the desk (no one else was waiting there) and there were 3 staff behind the desk. They also had no idea about how I could get to Tian Chi (one of the most famous attractions nearby)....had to rely on Lonely Planet for that. Lucky I did because their guesses were way off. Hotel is very close to place from which buses depart to Tian Chi, which made the day trip easy. Back at hotel, no one offered to help us with our bags. Waiting staff in restaurant were much better though. Food selection good but what should have been kept warm on buffet was cold...eg french toast, sausages.
