Needs to clean up its ACT- Proceed with caution THE GOOD+ Great Location for Canton Fair - We were offered a FREE shuttle tot he fair.+ 3 minutes walk from Metro station+ free Internet availableTHE BAD- Not Clean- Awful beds not comfortable at all.- Only 1 person speaks good English- Walls are Damp and partially black- The room has a bad odur / smell- The lighting is terrible in the rooms.- No facility to Iron cloths.- Insect bites - on both nights i stayed.Nancy, who speak good English was very helpful, all other staff were hopeless. The is in a desperate need of an clean-up / upgrade and need of good lighting, beds and everything else I can think of. It is a great Location for those attending the Canton Fair since its is easily accessible via metro. Some local shops and restaurantss though mostly offering local food. There is one Muslim (Halal) restaurant across the road.. a few minutes walk where the food was nice (they serve Lamb, Beef and Chicken as meats only (what we are use to in the west) along with vegetable dishes. Other local food places were rather smelly for some reason may be due to cooking some unknown local cuisines I saw live turtles, crocodiles and sea snakes and other sea food in transparent containers with mesh. customers pick and choose and the restaurant cooks it.
