*Inefficient Front Desk Service - It took three people and three credit cards ( Visa, my local Chinese bank card with Yin-lian, and my master card ) before they could complete my check-in.
*Air-condition in room does not work properly - My room was 29.6C degree when I walked in, I turned it up all the way down to 15C and high fan for 30 min. only found that it was blowing hot air. Called the front desk 5 times but no one came to check until I called the assistant manager, I felt like I was in the Sauna....Than the room finally cooled down.I woke up in the morning in my own sweat as the room was again, 29.6C!! This was unbelievable!! I think the control in the room was just for the look, the hotel has centrolly controlled switch to control each room's temperature, which was rediculous. This is only May, can't imagine if it was July or August... Maybe I should try to stay there in the winter - second thought, maybe not, the room would probably be around 10C then....
*High Speed Internet did not work, had to call numerous time and was told repeatedly it "should" work, and just key in my room number and the password they gave me... I kept trying and it still would not work. Finally I was connected to the IT guy and he told me there was a problem and someone was suppose to fix it but did not. I was given a different set of numbers, it finally worked - only wasted half an hour... again, no one came to my room, nor did anyone showed that they cared....
* Very Very hard bed and rough sheets!
I do not think Ctrip should list this hotel as "5 stars" as it was probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed in China. Very disappointed and will not go back again.
