Mr The Golden Sun Hotel is an oasis in the otherwise heavily industrialised Sanshui. It has to be by far the best value 5 star hotel you can stay at. The rooms are large and clean with all necessaries and has good soundproofing to the structure. The reception is typically large and somewhat bland and boring but do not let this put you off as the rooms and other facilities are 5 star. There is a japanese restaurant on one of the upper floors where you can eat food specially cooked food by a chef in your private room and is top class. The breakfasts do let down the hotel as there is a minimal selection for western guests. An outdoor swimming pool is also worth a visit on a hot day and is not crowded. The hotel staff are very attentive and they impressed me on my final check out by clearly advising on how and where to catch a coach to my next destination. Stay here.
